Guidelines For Admission

Rules for Admission :

  • Right of admission is reserved by the Principal and Society.
  • A learner seeking admission to the college should present himself / herself with an application in the prescribed form duly filled in and signed by him/her and his/her parents / guardian.
  • No admission will be regarded as granted unless it is duly granted by the Principal.
  • All admissions are valid only for a year and are required to be renewed with application in the prescribed form for the new subsequent year.
  • Once a learner is admitted will be considered as duly admitted for a year, unless he informs to the Principal in writing of his intention to cancel the admission and leave the college.
  • All admission process depends upon University of Mumbai and Government of Maharashtra rules and regulation will be applicable to all students.
  • Late applications will not be accepted.
  • Pre-Admission Online Enrolment Process for First Year (Semester I)
  • The candidate who wants to take the admission for F.Y.B.Sc., F.Y.B.A. and F.Y.B.Com. Semester I is required to complete the Pre-Admission Online/ Offline Enrolment Process according to University of Mumbai rules and regulation.
  • Following documents are required for Pre-Admission Online/ Offline Enrolment Process:- B.A./B.Com./B.Sc. For / Sem. I
  • Duly Filled-in College Admission Form.
  • Photocopy of S.S.C. and H.S.C Mark sheet of the Candidate.
  • Photocopy of Junior College Leaving Certificate.
  • Email Address & Mobile No. with whatsapp Number of the Candidate.
  • Soft Copy of Latest Passport Size Colored Photograph of the Candidate.
  • Soft Copy of Signature of the Candidate.
  • The candidate has to fill the Online Enrolment Form on the website of University of Mumbai (Click on Pre Admission Online Enrolment) and take its printout.
  • Submit the printout to the college administrative officer by date notified by the college or to submit offline admission form.

Documents Required for Admission :

  • Under-graduate Programmes:- B.A./B.Com./B.Sc. For / Sem III / Sem V
  • Duly Filled-in College Admission Form.
  • Previous year/ semesters Mark sheets (Attested Photocopy)
  • Two Passport Size Latest Colored Photographs of the Candidate.
  • Voting Card (1 Attested Photocopy)
  • Aadhar Card (1 Attested Photocopy)
  • Bank pass book of the Candidate (1 Attested Photocopy)
  • Guidelines for Admission Common Documents Admission produced will be considered complete only when the full fees for the academic year are paid. (against an official receipt)

Documents Required for Candidate of Reserved Category

  • Caste Certificate (For Candidate belong to SC / ST / NT / OBC / SBC Categories) (1 Attested Photocopy)
  • Income Certificate for last year.2021-22
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (For Learners belong to NT / OBC / SBC Categories) (1 Attested Photocopy)
  • Aadhar Card (1 Attested Photocopy)
  • Ration Card (For Candidate belong to SC / ST / NT / OBC / SBC Categories) (1 Attested Photocopy)

Documents Required for Candidate of Other Divisional Board / State :

  • H.S.C. Passing Certificate (Original and 3 Attested Photocopies)
  • Verification stamp of concern board on 12th Mark-sheet (Original and 2 Attested Photocopies)
  • Migration Certificate (Original and 3 Attested Photocopies)
  • Transference Certificate (Original and 3 Attested Photocopies)
  • No Objection certificate from previous institution.

महत्त्वाच्यासूचना :

  1. कॉलेज मध्ये प्रवेश घेतलेल्या सर्वाना कॉलेजचे व विद्यापीठाचे सर्वनियम,अटी,सूचना,परिप्रत्रके यांचे पालन करावे लागेल व ते सर्व त्याच्यावर बंधनकारक राहतील.
  2. प्रत्येक विद्यार्थाने कॉलेजपरिसरात आपले ओळखपत्र गळ्यात घालणे आवश्यक आहे किंवा जवळ ठेवणे आवश्यक आहे.अन्यथा रु ५० प्रमाणे दंड आकारला जाईल.
  3. विद्यार्थाने कॉलेज परिसरात मोबाईल आणणे बंदी आहे.
  4. कॉलेजमधील सर्व परीक्षांना व प्रात्याशिकेबसणे बंधनकारक आहेत.अन्यथा रु. १०० ते ५०० पर्यंत दंड आकारला जाईल.
  5. कॉलेज परिसरात प्रत्येक विद्यार्थाने शिस्तीचे पालन करावे, बेशिस्त वर्तन केल्याससबंधित विदयार्थाच्या प्रवेश रदद करण्यात येईल किंवा निलंबित करण्यात येईल
  6. नियमित तासिकासाठी ७५ टक्के हजेरी आवश्यक आहेत, नसल्यास सदर विदयार्थास सत्र/वार्षिक/कोणत्याही परीक्षेसबसू दिले जाणार नाहीत.
  7. विद्यार्थास कॉलेज परिसरात शिस्त,शांतता ठेवावी लागेल. बेशिस्तपणा चालणार नाहीत. कॉलेज परिसरात रंगिंग करू नये, आढळल्यासमुंबई विदयापीठाच्या नियमानुसार व तसेच इंडियन पिनल कोड कलम ११६,११७ व इतर अन्वये योग्य ती पोलीस कारवाई केली जाईल.
  8. ग्रंथालयातमोठ्याने बोलू नये शांतता पाळावी.तसेच प्रयोगशाळेत शिस्त,शांतता ठेवावी लागेल. प्रयोगशाळेतसाहित्याचे/ पुस्तकाचे नुकसान झाल्यास विद्यार्थाकडूननुकसानभरपाई भरून घेतली जाईल.
  9. कॉलेज मध्ये कोणीही कोणत्याही प्रकारची वर्गणीगोळा करू नये तसेच राजकीय, सामाजिकदृष्ट्या द्वेष निर्माण होईल असे कोणतेही कायर्क्रम आयोजित करू नये. कोणाचाही वाढदिवस/सण, उत्सव, साजरा करू नये,आढळल्यास दंड आकारला जाईल व योग्य ती कारवाई केली जाईल.
  10. कॉलेजच्या मुलींवर होणाऱ्या अन्याय,अत्याचार, रगिग, लेंगिक,अत्याचार यांच्या विरुद्ध कॉलेजमधील प्राचार्य किंवा महिला विकास कक्ष याकडे लेखी /तोंडी तक्रार दाखल करता येईल. व न्याय मिळविता येईल.

AN APPEAL TO THE PARENTS / GUARDIANS :

  • Reading of Prospectus-Parents or Guardians are requested to go through the ‘Prospectus’ and understand all aspects before admitting their wards in the college.
  • Parents’ Meetings-Parents or Guardians are requested to attend the parents’ meetings and meet to the Class Teacher / Head of the Department / Principal to have the information about the progress of their wards.
  • Evaluations / Examinations-The examinations of all degree programmes are on Credit, Grading and Semester basis. So, parents are requested to see the regularity and compliance of rules and regulations of evaluations or examinations of their wards.
  • If the learners / wards are irregular in attendance and not up to the mark in internal evaluations /semester end examination or failed to attain these examinations, they are not allowed to fill in the examination forms. In such a case, they are personally responsible for their academic loss.
  • Parents and guardians are requested to visit college office.
  • Attendance:-Attendance at all lectures/practical’s/tutorials/tests/assignments/examinations is compulsory for all courses.
  • A learner, who is not regular in attendance or fails to carry out his / her work to the satisfaction of the Principal, is liable to cancellation of his / her terms.
  • The learner who does not have minimum required attendance of 75% of actual lectures / practical’s, conducted in each semester or does not show satisfactory progress in semester / internal examinations will not be sent for college / University examinations.
  • Periodical tests / assignments / seminars are compulsory for the learner of all classes.
  • A learner who remains absent for the periodical test / assignment / examination due to his / her illness shall be required to submit the medical certificate, along with the application endorsed by parent in time.

Discipline :

  • Learners should always wear their valid college identity cardandthey should show there identity card whenever demanded by any of the college staff.
  • Learner will not allowed to enter in the college premises without valid identity card.
  • In case of the any problem, personal or academic, learners should report to the respective class teacher or faculty in-charge or the Principal who will help them to solve their problems.
  • Every learner is responsible to the college and should take utmost care of the college premises / property.
  • Any damage to the college building, furniture and fixtures by the learners shall be treated as breach of Learners are advised to take care of gardens, plants, flowers, etc.
  • Learners will not be allowed to bring any outsider with them in the college but in special case parents or any outsider may be allowed with prior permission and valid reason and entering the name on the gate register.
  • If the conduct of any learner is detrimental to the college, the Principal may ask the learner to leave the college without assigning any reason. The Principal’s decision is final in this regard.
  • No any types of notice shall be put on the notice boards/black boards/wall without the written permission of the Principal.
  • The powers relating to the disciplinary action in the college willbe with the Principal and his decision in this respect shall be final.

Cancellation of Admission :

Refund of fees can be claimed as per University of Mumbai’s Circular No. UG / 412 of 2008
i) 0.2859: Refund of Tuition, Development and all other fees after cancellation of admissions: The candidates who have taken admission in undergraduate courses in Govt. colleges, in Govt. aided and unaided courses conducted by affiliated colleges, and recognized Institutions may request for refund of fees after applying in writing for cancellation of their admission to the course.
ii) The refund of fees as applicable shall be made on or before the30th day after the date of cancellation and thereafter. The percentage of fees for the course shall be refunded to the candidate after deducting charges as follows:
NOTE: The total amount considered for the refund of fees from the commencement of academic term of the courses including the following:
iii) The fee charged towards group insurance and all fee components to be paid as University share (including Vice-Chancellor fund, University fee for sports and cultural activities, E-charge, disaster management fund, exam. Fee and Enrollment fee) are non-refundable if payment is made by the college prior to the date of cancellation.
iv) Fee collected for identity card and Library card, admission form and prospectus, enrollment and any other course specific fee are not refundable after the commencement of the academic term.
v) All refundable deposits (Laboratory, Caution Money and Library etc.) shall be fully returned at the time of cancellation. Provided that wherever admissions are made through centralized admission process for professional and / or for any other courses by other competent Authorities, the Refund Rules are applicable if specified by such authorities (as per the rules of relevant agencies) for the 1st year admission. In case of admission to subsequent years of the course, 0.2859 is applicable for cancellation of admission.
vi) Further that 0.2859-A & 0.2859-B have been repealed and the amended 0.2859 relating to the refund of Tuition Fees, Development and all other fees after cancellation of admission for the Under Graduate Courses has been brought into force with effect from the academic year 2022-2023.
vii) Refund of College Deposit: -Application for the refund of college deposit must be made within one year of the applicant ceasing to be a student of the College( From 1st August to 15th August Every year Only) , failing which the deposit amount will be forfeited. And not refunded to any condition.
