Lokvikas Samajik Sanstha’s M.M.Jagtap College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mahad -Raigad was established in the year July 2009,Affiliated to the University of Mumbai to provide value based higher education to the specially economically backward and minority students from rural.
Our college has completed 13 years in the field of higher education. From the year 2016-17 our institution has started M.M. Jagtap English Medium School & Jr. College Mahad.
Our college vision is to the Empowerment of students for sustainable development by imparting knowledge, information, understanding, ethics and morality through education in the konkan Mofussial, Hilly and backward area.
Our college mission is to provide quality education and to empowerment to become a good citizen in the emerging knowledge to the society.
Our focus is mainly on knowledge management, encouragement students for self-employment and developing employability in the society and promoting to the research work.
We are planning to introduce new programmes, to builded up New college building, provide hostel facilities for poor students, develop and enrich our library and laboratory, establish English, Urdu, language lab and virtual classroom to enable our students to face the challenges of globalized economy and to reduce the disparity between rural and urban.
I am confident that with the cooperation and support of Sanstha’s officials, staff members, students and well-wishers our institution will able to achieve the goals in the near feature.
आमच्या महाविद्यालयाने उच्च शिक्षणाच्या क्षेत्रात १३ वर्षे पूर्ण केली. सन 2017-18 पासून आमच्या संस्थेने एम.एम.जगताप इंग्लिश मीडियम स्कूल आणि ज्यु. कॉलेज महाड सुरु केले आहे. कोकणातील, डोंगराळ आणि मागासलेल्या भागात शिक्षणाद्वारे ज्ञान, माहिती, समज, सदाचरण आणि नैतिकता प्रदान करून शाश्वत विकासासाठी विद्यार्थ्यांच्या सक्षमीकरणाकडे नेणे हे आमचे महाविद्यालयीन ध्येय आहे. समाजाच्या उदयोन्मुख ज्ञानात चांगले नागरिक बनण्यासाठी दर्जेदार शिक्षण आणि सक्षमीकरण प्रदान करणे हे आमचे महाविद्यालयाचे उदिष्ट आहे.
आमचे लक्ष प्रामुख्याने ज्ञान व्यवस्थापन, विद्यार्थ्यांना स्वयंरोजगारासाठी प्रोत्साहित करणे आणि समाजात रोजगारक्षमता विकसित करणे आणि संशोधन कार्याला चालना देणे यावर आहे.
आम्‍ही नवीन अभ्यासक्रम / कार्यक्रम सुरू करण्याकरिता नवीन महाविद्यालयाची इमारत बांधण्‍याची तयारी करीत आहोत. तसेच गरीब विद्यार्थ्‍यांसाठी वसतिगृहाची सुविधा उपलब्‍ध करण्‍याची आमची योजना आहे. कॉलेजची लायब्ररी आणि प्रयोगशाळा विकसित आणि समृद्ध करणे, तसेच इंग्रजी, उर्दू, हिंदी भाषा प्रयोगशाळा आणि व्हर्चुअल क्लासरूमची स्‍थापना करण्‍याची योजना आखत आहोत. जागतिकीकृत अर्थव्यवस्थेचे आव्हाने पेलेणे करिता व ग्रामीण आणि शहरी असमानता कमी करण्यासाठी आमचा प्रयत्न आहे. मला विश्वास आहे की, आमच्या संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष मा. हनुमंत (नानासाहेब) जगताप, सर्व पदाधिकारीवर्ग,सदस्यांचे, विशेषत: ज्यांनी आमच्यावर बिनशर्त विश्वास ठेवला व मनापासून आम्हाला पाठिंबा दिला असे आमच्या विद्यार्थांचे व पालकांचे आणि हितचिंतक यांच्या सहकार्याने आणि पाठिंब्याने आमची संस्था नजीकच्या भविष्यात आपले ध्येय साध्य करू शकेल असा मला विश्वास आहे.
